About

Why ProvisoIQ exists

After years of drafting and negotiating agreements, the founder found that the provisos were where the real work happened. The general promise was easy to agree; the conditions decided whether it held up.

AI in legal work follows the same pattern. The tools are powerful, and their value depends on knowing exactly when and how to rely on them. ProvisoIQ shares that judgment with everyone doing legal work, from paralegals in their first year to general counsel.

Everything here was built by someone who has done in-house legal work, for the lawyers and legal staff asked to use AI without the time or training to work it out alone. If you are buying a team or department license and need the author's professional credentials, ask at [email protected] and we will share them privately.

How the material is tested

Each product has its own test set, run on every supported model and again when a model changes. Until a product has been run, it shows test pending; once it has, the models, dates and results are shown on the product and in the update log. The full method is on the How we test page, and the rules on independence are in the editorial policy. Where we state time saved, it comes from timed runs with the method stated.

What ProvisoIQ is not

ProvisoIQ publishes legal information, tools and training. It is not a law firm, and nothing on this site is legal advice. No one pays to influence which model, tool or vendor we recommend; see the editorial policy.
